Ways to manage notifications​

Manage channels and subscriptions through whichever surface fits how you work:

  • Console: Settings → Notifications; point and click. See the Email and Slack setup guides.
  • CLI: astroctl notifications … commands; good for scripting and reproducible setups. See the astroctl notifications reference.

All three drive the same platform and enforce the same validation and owner permissions. There's no separate path with looser rules.

🚀 Quick Start​

Step 1: Access Notification Settings​

  1. Open the AstroPulse Console
  2. Navigate to Settings → Notifications
  3. Select your organization

Step 2: Set Up Your First Channel​

Choose your communication method:

  • 📧 Email - Quick setup for immediate notifications
  • 💬 Slack - Team integration (Enterprise only)

Step 3: Subscribe to Topics​

  1. Click Add Subscription
  2. Choose the events you want to monitor
  3. Select which channels should receive notifications
  4. Save your subscription

Organization-Level Control​

  • Owner Permissions: Only organization owners can manage settings
